Beautirul Enameled 99% Silver Powder Jar / Decorative Jar 3.5 x 2.5

This is a beautiful antique Chinese decorative jar made out of 99% silver with a enameled overlay. The piece is made of 99% silver we double checked it with our radar gun. This is really nice. The box is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws or chips in the enamel. It weighs 6.41 troy ounces. It is 3.5″ in diameter and 2.5″ to top of lid I put the apple by it, because that’s about how big it is.

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Chinese Export silver box; an addition to our collection of boxes and cases. This exceptional antique Chinese Export Silver (CES) cigarette box has a plain rectangular form. The surface of the body is encompassed with an applied, large undulating oriental Chinese dragon design, all in high relief. This antique silver box is fitted with a silver and cedar wood lined hinged cover. The upper plateau of the cover is ornamented with a further large coiling dragon design accented with impressive emanating whiskers, incorporating a circular vacant cartouche to the centre. The surface of the box and cover has a textured finish, with plain borders to each side. The body of this fine Chinese silver box retains the original cedar wood lining; by virtue of its size this versatile box could be used for a multitude of functions. The box features a solid silver base which is plain and unembellished, apart from the feature hallmarks; a solid silver base is a sign of quality. The hallmarks struck to the underside of this fine box include. Silver quality/purity mark: 85 (85 standard, 850/1000). Maker’s mark: (DA XIN GONG SI; The Sun Company Department Store Company). Workshop mark: (JIN JI, Shanghai). Such fine examples with three-dimensional whiskers and sharp applied decoration are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. NOTE: This small Shanghai workshop also crafted items for the Shanghai retailers Tuck Chang, Luen Woi and Nanking Store. This rare 2004 Chinese Panda comes with a 1/20th Gold Panda, a 2004 1 oz Silver Panda, and one commemorative colorized Clad Panda Coin. Set comes with a box and certificate, and is a must-have for any coin collector. With only 2000 made, this set is a true gem. The coins are uncirculated and encapsulated in a nice wooden case. The set was minted by the People’s Bank of China and is in excellent condition. I have included the certificate and a translation from google translate. While a good resource it may not be 100% accurate translation. The set will come as pictured with a wooden case holding three encapsulated coins and the certificate written in the Chinese language. The outer cardboard box has minor fraying on the edges and interior but the wooden case on the inside is in great condition. If interested do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!

Fab c1900 Chinese Gilt Silver Filigree Carnelian Moth Butterfly Bracelet

The bracelet is done in an incredibly intricate filigree style, each link with a delicate little moth or butterfly done on either side of the stone. The stones are all round pieces of rich red carnelian, with beautiful natural variation in shading and translucence. Of the seven links, five are set with carnelian while the two end links (which also make up the clasp) are decorated with a filigree design. The clasp is a tab insert style. The bracelet is stamped silver and China. This bracelet is in great condition. The stones are all securely set and intact. The bezels are a little uneven in a couple of spots around a couple of the stones, and you can see a little bit of a flatter spot here and there, but this is not a chip or damage. If you hold the stones up so light can come through, you can see that these stones were originally spherical beads drilled through the middle. But we believe these are the original stones to the bracelet and that these are not replacements for anything. The clasp is working well and closes securely. The bracelet will fit a wrist of about 6 1/2 inches in circumference, and is about ¾ of an inch wide at the widest point. The bracelet weighs 23.6 grams. Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution.

This vintage pill box is marked SILVER CHINA. It measures approximately 1-9/16″ (3.9 cm) by 1-1/4″ (3.2 cm) and 3/8 (1 cm) high, not including the stone. Weighs 18.2 grams. As can be seen in the photos, the jade is not centered but this is part of the design.
