A piece of Japanese History on this small silver box made by one of the finest silver smiths and watch makers of the time. In 1934 Emperor Pu Yi of Manchukuo in order to express his gratitude to the Japanese Emperor sent. Zheng Xiaoxu and Zhu Qia as special envoys to Japan. I think two boxes were made by the Japanese side as presents. (This is one of the two). A rare conversation piece and museum quality fine addition to any collection as seen. Please view photos as they are part of the actual description. To the appointed special envoys. Minister of State Zheng Xiaoxu. Minister of Finance Zhu Qia. ? Pure Silver Made by Hattori. (Watch and jewelry shop in Tokyo, Ginza, founded in 1881). To view my full range of my eclectic eye candy!
