Antique Strait Chinese Baba baba nyonya Handmade gold gilt silver lime box baba nyonya chatelaine with chain. Absolutely stunning details all over Box open to reveal a large compartment where most likely lime was stored. Dates early 20th century. Unsigned Materials : gold gilded silver (higher grade silver). Measurements : Measures 3 inches in diameter chain adds 10 1/2 inches x 7/8 inches max width. Weighs 74 grams on my weighing scale. Condition : Good old condition with some wear /loss to gold gilding (underneath silver can be seen at places) No repair or damage seen. Please Note As Antique /vintage items are previously loved /used please do expect some minor wear like surface wear /dents /dings and metal discoloration/age patina. Classic Chinese for export oval domed filigree link bracelet – fully enameled with multi colored – lavender, cobalt, turquoise, peacock flowers and butterflies and centered with bezel set 7 white jade with apple green hints cabochons – each approximately 8x11mm – nicely matched – marked only: SILVER – some faint loss to enamel when viewed with a loupe – bracelet measures 7 1/8″ long x 3/4″ x 7/16 – total weight 44 grams. Push box clasp in good original working condition – may have originally had a safety chain with bales – this has been removed sometime in the past. I will do my best to describe each item as accurately as possible and to the best of my knowledge.
