Unusual Sino-Tibetan Chinese Tibet Buddhist Coin Silver Copper Seashell Ritual Object Box Container – Fine Repouse work in the silver – metal not tested but appears high quality – a very interesting and unusual piece. Approximately 7 inches long – box appears upon examination to be in very good condition – the hinge works well on the box and it open and closes tightly – silver work is really amazing – apparently unmarked. This is the first time in over 25 years I have come across one of these – the box may have some small bumps or scratches but I did not see anything of note – otherwise fine condition and a nice addition to your collection. FABULOUS RARE VICTORIAN 9CT ROSE GOLD CARVED RING CHINESE SCENE DEPICTING FIGURES. This is a Fabulous fine quality Rare Victorian Hallmarked 9ct Rose Gold Oval Ring with a Chinese carved scene which dates to circa 1860 making it over 150 years old , this is an extremely Rare Victorian ring, it is hallmarked 9ct and its stunning, the gold ring itself is a rose gold and a large oval shape to the top, this has been mounted with the most beautiful Chinese carved scene with three figures talking in front of the most wonderfully detailed buildings and flowers, this sits high in its setting and the colour of the carved scene contrasts beautifully with the rose gold of the rings itself, the carving sits within the oval setting which in turn is a lovely deep banding of gold. He quality of the craftsmanship is superb, i believe this is a small size maybe for the little finger, its about an i in size, this would have once belonged to a very wealthy Victorian Lady or gentleman and been worn daily, this was many many years ago when times were so very different, if this ring could talk i can just imagine what fascinating stories it could tell, this is so very tactile and once held it has the most wonderful feel. Unusual Chinese silver enameled large moulded box and cover

For sale is this large Chinese cushion form porcelain box in imitation silver enamel. 10 1/2″ wide and 5″ tall. Some wear/loss to silver enamel, mostly on raised areas. A few scatteed iron spots inside. Dirt and soot in recessed areas. Several label remnants on base. Thick and heavy porcelain. Still, a very nice piece of porcelain and very well made, with raised lotus scroll and chi dragons on the cover. Some silver enamel made it over the edge onto the inner rim but this isnt any type of damage and is original to manufacture. Please see images for more details. Unusual Silver Chinese or Japanese Card Cigarette Case FALCON & DRAGON Falconry

A wonderful late 19th- early 20th century Chinese or Japanese card / cigarette case measuring 3.25″ x 2.5″ x about 1/2 thick with a curve shape to fit against one’s chest. Marked as in the last pic. Featuring in high relief a working falcon tethered on his post and a dragon on the reverse. A highly unusual subject by a master silversmith, probably a commission piece for someone into falconry. I’ve had this 18 years and have never seen another case with a falcon. Probably sterling but has not been tested and is not marked sterling. Examined by two antique silver dealers who say its sterling. Japan did not use 925 and the sterling mark until 1928. It tarnishes like sterling. I cannot guarantee this will fit your cigarettes, cards or personal needs. UNUSUAL VICTORIAN CARVED CHINESE DRAGON LETTER OPENER AND SCABBARD. This is a Beautiful very Unusual Victorian Chinese Dragon Carved Letter Opener and Scabbard , this stunning letter opener dates to circa 1890 making it over 100 years old, the detailing is superb, you will see the handle is crafted in a wood with and has a slightly curved metal body for opening the letter, this has a very delicate pattern to the edging of the opener as you can see from my last photo almost a scallop shape, this then has its wonderful matching slightly curved wooden scabbard that fits perfectly, once they are back together you will see the most beautiful carved and painted dragon running up from the scabbard to the handle in blues, reds and cream colours, the detailing is beautiful, to the top and bottom of this stunning letter opener you will see it is finished with a wonderful ivory colour roundal, this still also retains its tassles to the top of the handle in a gold colour braid, the quality of the craftsmanship is superb, it is so very tactile with its smooth finish , this would have been used many years ago when letters were sent daily. This will add something very special to any collection, its in lovely condition, just a little flaking to the paint in places.
