This cylindrical shaped box is adorned with embossed blossom, which have exceptional detail & definition. The entire outside, and the top of the lid is smothered in blossoms. This enchanting design, sits proud on a hand hammered background. It’s lid is original & a perfect fit, both parts are internally gilded. 1850’s / 1890’s. WH for Wang Hing & Co. (Hong Kong Circa 1854 – 1930). 3.9 cm’s diameter. 3 cm’s high. No dents, holes or splits. There are movement marks to the base. Both the lid & bottom open & close with ease.
