Antique Chinese Silver Repousse Peaches w/ Tree Branches Scene Powder Compact Box from l. Ate Qing Dynasty or early Republic (Minguo) era. Measures approx 3.25″ diameter x 1.25″ tall. Net weight 4.75 oz / 136 gram. Overall wear, surface scratches, stained and tarnished. The shape of the edges (both lid and container) has slight changed so the box won’t close perfectly.

Antique Chinese 20thC. Sterling Silver Cloisonne Enamel Ducks Cranes Opium Box

On Offer is this lovely Antique Early 1900’s Chinese Sterling Silver Enamel Cloisonne Snuff Opium Box featuring a square shaped box with Ducks and Cranes decorated around all four sides of this beautiful and now rare box. There are flowers around the base and the lid of the box. Tested positive for 925 sterling silver. Hallmarked Silver on the base of the box which is stained with old glue from the sales sticker. The inside of the lid and box are coated with the same irridescent blue color. Measuring 2.5 inches high x 1 inches wide. In excellent vintage condition with no damage or repairs. An outstanding piece of Chinese history that is a must for the serious collector. The lid opens and closes tightly. It has never been used so is in pristine condition because it is old stock. The colors of the enamel are iridescent and very shiny around the cartouches. A wonderful piece of early 20th century Chinese silversmithing history because these marvelous pieces are not longer being made.

Vintage Chinese Coral Netted Bead Silver Enamel Graduated Necklace. This is a rare, extraordinary coral netted bead graduated necklace. The beads are separated by petal-shaped turquoise blue enameled bead caps. Hand-knotted on silk thread. Necklace is in pristine condition. Provenance: Estate of Florence and Herbert Irving. The Irvings were major collectors of Asian art and generous benefactors of Columbia University Irving Medical Center and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Measures 22.5 total length including clasp. Hallmarked SILVER on clasp. ANTIQUE CHINESE STERLING SILVER NEEDLE CASE HANGING PENDANT c1800

This antique Chinese silver needle case pendant is a stunning piece of history. Suspended by a chain, the intricate design features a lotus blossom hanger and semi precious stone bead at the end. The bottom pulls down to reveal a storage compartment for needles. This item is an original c1800 and is not reproduced. Thank you for looking. This was part of my mother’s large sewing collection. Antique Chinese Floral Mother of Pearl Snuff Box. Excellent Pinned Silver Repair

The lid has a very old pinned repair, excellently done, showing how much someone valued this once upon a time. This repair and the skill involved is what makes this item even better. Expected wear for an item if its age, exactly as in the images. Approx 6.9cm wide.

Chinese silver enamel jade / aventurine dragon ashtray cigarette holder & box

It separates into 4 parts. The bottom, dragon head, is the ashtray. Then a base for the cylinder, then the cylinder for cigarettes, then the lid. The inside is washed with gold (gold tone, not sure if actual gold). The lid is topped with a graceful bird (crane I think). It is marked SILVER on the bottom. The piece all together measures about 9 inches tall. The base is about 6 1/2 inches long from head of dragon to tail of dragon. Comes in beautiful fabric lined original box. I have not cleaned this piece. A few minor condition issues: 2 stones missing on lid, slight bend on metal edge, slight dent on lid which is hard to see except for on close inspection (I have used the ruler to point to the side on which the slight dent can be found). The jade looks like it has vein or crack (stable, does not move at all). This is a stunning piece. It was a gift from in-laws of my sister who traveled the world years ago. I do not know the age (maybe 19th or early 20th C) but guess it was an export piece. Please see photos and let me know if you have any questions.
