LOVELY CONDITION, TWO SMALL DINGS ON ONE END, 3 SMALL CREASES ON THE OTHER END, NONE DISTRACTING SEE PICTURES 8 AND 9 – TWO SMALL DINGS ON #8 ARE OBVIOUS. DEFECTS IN PICTURE #9 ARE A SMALL LINE CREASE AT UPPER LEFT, A SMALLER ONE AT MIDDLE TOP, AND THE TOP OF THE BOTTOM PORTION WHERE THE LID MEETS THE METAL IS SLIGHTLY BENT IN, DOES NOT AFFECT FUNCTION OR DISPLAY. THE BOX SITS FLAT AND PRESENTS BEAUTIFULLY, READY FOR A MONOGRAM. THIS PIECE WILL PROBABLY NEVER BE SCRAPPED, BUT NOTE THAT THE LID IS CURVED BUT THE INTERIOR LID WOOD IS FLAT, SO SOME KIND OF MATERIAL IS BEHIND THE LID WOOD. LATE 19TH OR EARLY 20TH CENTURY.
