Antique TUCK CHANG c. 1900 Chinese Export Sterling Silver Hallmarked & Stamped TC, Lot of (2) Match Box Covers, one High-content Silver & the other a Cloissonne Copper Cover with Original Antique French Match Boxes, amazing find! (obviously a gift many years ago, easily removed with polishing, I do not clean my items I leave this to others to decide). These have not been fully polished and yet it has such a mirror-finish, that’s the high silver-content involved here. The other matchbox cover is cloisonne made of copper. Both have the authentic French matchboxes included (both quite old), along with original matchsticks. One match box has a wooden lining, both are incredible alone. These are sincerely wonderful forgive my poor photography, please take a second look here. This estate sale was a’once-in-a-lifetime’ opportunity, these pieces are perfect for collectors, not found very often, seriously. The silver content & copper alone have permanent monetary value. 2 Figural Signed Chinese Export Silver Salt & Pepper Shakers Snuff Box Opium SL

Offered for your consideration is a signed pair of Chinese export small vessels. They are possibly salt and pepper shakers or meant for opium or snuff. The tops are removable. They consist of a lid and an interior screen. They date to the late 19th or early 20th century. The vessels are in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with one top wire detached at one side. Otherwise, there is light edge wear, fine and light indentations and bends here and there, fine and light surface scratches and scuffing here and there, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. This fine antique Chinese Export Silver (CES) cigarette box has a plain rectangular form with rounded corners. The surface of the body of the box is plain with an applied moulded border to the rim. The subtly domed hinged cover of the box is ornamented with contemporary engraved monograph initials in addition to a moulded border to the rim. The hallmarks struck to the underside of this impressive box include. Makers mark: WH (Wang Hing & Company). Silver quality/purity mark: 90 (900/1000). This fine antique Chinese Export Silver (CES) cigarette/card case has a plain rectangular form with rounded corners. The anterior cover is embellished with an embossed and chased decorated iconic Chinese dragon design amidst clouds, on a matte background, incorporating a shield shaped vacant cartouche. The posterior cover is ornamented with traditional embossed and chased plum blossom foliate and floral decoration, also on a matte background. The rounded sides of this antique silver cigarette case are plain and unembellished. This silver cigarette / card case is fitted with a push fit catch, which when released reveals two hinged compartments. This Chinese silver cigarette case retains the original gilded interior. The hallmarks struck to the catch of this impressive case include. Makers mark: Zee Wo. This antique case is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition. The embossed and chased decoration is very sharp. Full hallmarks struck to the interior of the catch are all very clear, however we are unable to produce an image due to the difficult placement of these hallmarks. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Chinese Export Silver and enamel box / canister; an addition to our oriental silver boxes collection. This exceptional antique Chinese Export Silver (CES) canister / box has a hexafoil shaped form. The surface of this double skinned antique Chinese box is embellished with overlaid filigree mesh panels with plain solid silver borders to each incurve, in addition to the upper and lower rims. Each panel is ornamented with an applied oriental plum blossom branch accented with floral and bird designs, all accented with enamel details. The ornamentation to the body incorporates an array of alternating collet set agate and coral gemstones. This Chinese silver box retains the original push fit gem set, bulbous cover embellished with further filigree and enamel work identical to that of the body. The Chinese silver and enamel box cover is surmounted with an exceptional filigree ball style finial accented with a coral gemstone to the upper portion and featuring a flared lobed, filigree terminal.
