Vintage Gilded Sterling Silver Turquoise Stone & Enamel Lobed Snuff Trinket Box

Absolutely beautiful four lobed gilded fine silver pill/Snuff box marked with the word SILVER. Vining flower enameled in sky blue turquoise on top and sides with an oval domed greenish blue turquoise stone in center. Extra detail in lip and latch. Enameled interior has something going on with it, I don’t want to touch it however the enamel is peeling/chipping around edges (see pics). It may be able to stabilize or repair as is. Box Measures 4.5 cm long 4 cm wide 1 cm deep. Stone Measures 14 mm by 10 mm 5 mm tall. Light wear to exterior enamel. Stone a lovely green swirl natural turquoise and has probably turned color from age of piece. Weight is 29.4 grams. Early 20th century or older.

Vintage Chinese Gilded Sterling Silver Cloissone Enamel Bracelet With Jade

This vintage Chinese sterling silver bracelet features 3 jade stones surrounded by gilt silver designs and cloisonne flowers in blue and purple enamel. All stones are present. Use photos as main part of the description. It has a box clasp and safety chain that work. It is signed Silver on the clasp. The inside diameter of the bracelet measures approximately 2 3/8 inches. It is approximately 5/8 inches wide. It weighs approximately 34 g. Item shows wear consistent with age and use but still displays beautifully. PRIZE ANTIQUE TEA CADDY c1850 Gilded Black Chinoiserie MOP Inlay 5.5x4.5x3.5

Here is an authentic Chinese Export black papier mache Japanned lacquered and gilded tea caddy dating around 1830 to 1870 that I imported from England years ago. It measures about 5.5″ long, 4.5″ tall, and 3.5 deep front to back. It is exquisitely hand painted and decorated with MOP (Mother of Pearl) inlay on the top and front side, with cyma curves and similar graceful designs. It is in relatively good condition, but does have minor gilding losses, craquelure, and irregular wear. There is also a small dent on left back corner of the lid, and an old repair to the front left side base of the box. There is also a small lid cover that fits inside the tea caddy. It has a tiny Mother of Pearl “button” as a handle, and there is a miniature Mother of Pearl spoon (has a slight chip on one side) since tea was so “dear” back then. The two divided storage compartments inside the tea caddy are gilded in silver zinc with a few leftover tea leaves. No other damage or repairs. This is priced at under my cost so not likely to cut price at all. The two brass and/or metal lid hinges and one brass escutcheon on front work and are in perfect shape. I do have a tiny brass key that fits perfectly into the lock, but it does not move the locking mechanism on the tea caddy – it may just need oil. The key is about 15/16 long. It will be double boxed for protection.

Antique Gilded Silver Plate Chinese Repousse Dresser Box with Handle

This antique Chinese repousse box is quite unique: the box is silver plate over copper with a gold wash over that. The result is a very lush looking box. It has a handle on top and comes with a lock, but no key. The box features a ferocious bird on a branch with flowers and more flowers along the sides. There is a Chinese mark on the bottom. The box is lined in newer dark green velvet, which is in excellent condition. The rest of the box is also in very good condition with some minor losses to the gilt wash.
