This listing is for a lovely Chinese gilt silver box with raised cloisonne enamel work and a carved jade/jadite medallion mounted in the center top. The elaborate enamel cloisonne design is predominately in shades of blue with green and touches of carnelian colored enamel in raised silver wire work standing in relief above the background. Matching the cigarette box are two small individual ash pots or ashtrays. Each piece has a gold washed silver interior and exterior. Each piece is marked “Made in China, Silver”. The set comes in its original silk lined fitted case with padded silk brocade top with the rest of the box being black satin. We are not sure of age as the box and ashtrays appear to have never been used although we believe this high quality set are 20th Century production. Cigarette box measures 2″ high, 4 1/8″ long and 2 3/4 wide. Ashtrays measures 1 1/8″ high and 2 3/4″ in diameter (at rounded sides). Combined weight of set including box is 2.9 pounds.
