Antique handcrafted repousse box solid silver acid tested around 800 late 1800 period/early 1900 background marked in Chinese characters. Silver LAI JI HUA. (Several Chinese silversmiths moved to work in Bangkok between the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries) box is rectangular shaped with lid highly crafted, on sides and lid, with scenes of aristocratic dignitaries with their servants very detailed decorations measures 13.3 x 8.1 x 5 cm weight gr 350 in excellent condition for age photos are part of the description. ANTIQUE CHINESE EXPORT ORANGE ICE NEPHRITE JADE EARRINGS w ORIGINAL SILK BOX

Exotic jeweled antique earrings. High end Chinese export pieces and date to the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. Feature three stacked east west set glowing glassy orange cabochon gemstones. The gems test to be nephrite. Fine grade with a warm internal glow. Very fine gauged applied designs include twisted rope borders and Etruscan style balls. Clip on backs so most anyone should be able to wear these – pierced ears or not. Comes in the original box that is topped with a classic oriental or asian pattern – feels like it could be silk on the outside and has the look of grosgrain satin on the off white inside. It has some old hand written numbers on the bottom. Very minor wear and discoloration on the box only and earring are in great vintage condition with no damage or quirks to mention. Rich original old patina. A rare find in an excellent state of preservation. Ready and waiting for your ears, collection, or gift giving – you will love these! MEASUREMENTS : Earrings are each aprox 13/16″ long x 7/16″ wide (width is including the little ball decorations protruding) – orange cabochons are about 7 x 5 mm each. MARKS : SILVER stamped on the insides of the clip back hardware. WEIGHT : Earrings together weigh 8.7 grams on my scale – not including the box. CONDITION : Great vintage condition – no quirks or damage to mention concerning the earrings at all. The stones are all intact and completely free from chips, crazing, wear, cracks, nicks, etc. And clip backs in good working order. The box has some negligible wear, discoloration, etc one would expect of a box over 100 years old. Nothing glaring or out of the. Our Stock # 24308. This is an antique ladies travelling vanity box. A Chinese, elm and brass dressing table case with internal mirror, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920. Fascinating set of openings and storage, with a distinctive appearance. Displays a desirable, lightly time-worn antique appearance. Chinese elm stocks present deep chestnut hues throughout. Brass accentuates the case with bright golden tones. Held securely with a main central clasp, small bone baton and sliding hook clasp. When released, the lid lifts to reveal the original, foxed mirror plate. Set upon a pivot, the mirror comes to rest, acting as a prop for the lid. Fascia in two wing sections, opening outwards to reveal a suite of six internal drawers. Left-hand drawer dressed with a brass lock escutcheon – key absent. Each swing out wing hosts a drawer and sliding cover to reveal a second storage space. Robust drop handles to each side aid ease of carriage. Antique Chinese Silver Pierced Snuff/Trinket Box, Unknown Maker’s stamp, 63.6g

Charming antique, Chinese hand-crafted silver box, dating to the early 20th century and possibly originating from Canton. The inside of the lid of the box, apologies if this is upside down! The lid of the box is highlighted by a highly-decorative filigree surrounding a central plaque with a foliate design. On the reverse side, there’s a charming repousse scene of a bird-possibly a dove symbolising long life and fidelity- at the foot of an exotic tree. The sides of the box are plain. Obviously hand-made, the box measures 7.5cms x 5cms x 1.5cms and weighs in at a hefty. This is an unusual and highly decorative little box which would be a lovely addition to a silver collection. Antique Chinese Boxed Set Silver & Coconut Cups c. This is a boxed set of Qing dynasty hexagonal coconut cups with silver liners, circa 1890 – 1910. The set is complete with ten cups, five decorated with engraved & gold / green stained characters, the other five are undecorated. CONDITION No apparent damage or repairs the set looks unused with the original paper padding. The transport case has mounts for two handles but one handle is missing – as per images. The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners. Case Length 30.7cm. Cup Height 3.5cm. Cup Diameter 5.2cm. Items are packed defensively & extreme care is taken to ensure you receive goods in perfect condition.
