1930’s Chinese Solid Silver Jade Jadeite Rouge Compact Case Box

1930’s Chinese Silver (tested silver with acid silver test kit) Jadeite Rouge Compact Case. It is 2.2 inches (5.6 cm) in length by 1.6 inches (4.2 cm) wide. The jadeite is 13.57mm-14.75mm in length by 5.85mm-10.63 mm wide. It is 34.6 gram. The latch for the case is missing (so the box cannot close tightly). Fab c1900 Chinese Gilt Silver Filigree Carnelian Moth Butterfly Bracelet

The bracelet is done in an incredibly intricate filigree style, each link with a delicate little moth or butterfly done on either side of the stone. The stones are all round pieces of rich red carnelian, with beautiful natural variation in shading and translucence. Of the seven links, five are set with carnelian while the two end links (which also make up the clasp) are decorated with a filigree design. The clasp is a tab insert style. The bracelet is stamped silver and China. This bracelet is in great condition. The stones are all securely set and intact. The bezels are a little uneven in a couple of spots around a couple of the stones, and you can see a little bit of a flatter spot here and there, but this is not a chip or damage. If you hold the stones up so light can come through, you can see that these stones were originally spherical beads drilled through the middle. But we believe these are the original stones to the bracelet and that these are not replacements for anything. The clasp is working well and closes securely. The bracelet will fit a wrist of about 6 1/2 inches in circumference, and is about ¾ of an inch wide at the widest point. The bracelet weighs 23.6 grams. Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution.

Chinese Export Solid Silver Snuff Tobacco Vesta Case Squeeze Box Wang Hing

This is a rare early 20th-century c. 1910 Chinese Export solid silver antique snuff/tobacco squeeze-open box by Wang Hing. Circular form with a hinged lid. Decorated with bamboo engravings on the front and back. The decorations are crisp & detailed. Hallmarked in the interior WH for Wang Hing, “90” for 900 silver standard. A lovely stylised monogram on the underside of the lid. It is a heavy gauge, good-sized box, it feels sturdy and solid, weighing 80.5g. It can be used to store many other small items other than snuff/tobacco. DIMENSION: Diameter 7.2cm (2 7/8). Some dents on the body. The lid closes securely. PEACE OF MIND GUARANTEE. Chinese Enameled Metal Box Republic Period Circa 1930

An intricate, hands on, colorful hinged box to add to a collection or use to decorate the home. The heavy brass box has a silver (colored) patina and has been enameled in turquoise, cobalt and aubergine enamels in a scrolling peony design. You can see the golden color of the brass coming through the silver. The box has a simple pin hinge. The box rests flat on a surface with its bun feet. It has the mark MADE IN CHINA on the center of the base. 4 3/8″ wide x 3 ¼” (8.3 cm) deep x 1 7/8 (4.8 cm) tall. Weighs 12.0 oz (340 g). There is wear to both the silver-colored patina, as well as to some of the turquoise enamels. The hinge is bent, which prevents the lid from closing snugly. It also wiggles a little. There is wear and a few black spots inside the box. A great Chinese box to add to a collection or use to store little knick knacks. We just ask that you notify us before returning and obtain our authorization. This will ensure quick processing.
