Top Lid is exquisitely carved with a fierce, undulating, open mouth dragon wrapped around 2 Ideograms. Entire background and sides are small carved flowers Has 3 short flat feet. Box is stamped at bottom with 2 clear square indentation marks. Box is 3 & 1/2 in. Wide by 1 & 1/4 in. EXQUISITE Vintage 1950s Handmade Chinese Export Silver Filigree Nature Scene BOX

For sale here is an EXQUISITE vintage 1940s 50s handmade Chinese Export silver filigree nature scene design lidded and footed box. Entirely laboriously and gloriously handmade! Incredible detail especially in the nature scene at top of two ducks amongst plants in the water. Measures 6″ by 3-5/8″ by 2 tall and weighs 326.7 grams or about 10-1/2 troy ounces. Marked “Silver” at bottom, tested and is the standard 900 silver most commonly used in Chinese silver items. This box was given at coat of clear lacquer to prevent tarnish when new, and has survived very well with just fine light wear and some fine tarnish here and there. Antique Large Chinese Enameled Sterling Silver Jeweled Tea Caddy Box

This is a fantastic antique vintage silver Chinese hexagonal lobed tea caddy or box. Approximately circa 1900’s-1910. The caddy is hand made sterling silver gilt filagree with semi-precious polished jeweled turquoise and coral stones and detailed enameling. It is spectacular and so much nicer than the photos. The gilt inside is in very good condition. This could be polished with silver polish to a bright shine but I have left the aged patina. It is in overall excellent original condition. Hallmarked SILVER on the bottom. This is a very large size at 7″ x 4″. It is getting more difficult to find these as they are extremely collectable. It weighs 514 grams or 18.1 oz. Antique Chinese Signed Silver 385g Pierce Work Repousse Circular Lidded Box

An antique, large, signed Chinese, solid silver, pierce work, repousse, circular lidded box. There are three different chop marks on the bottom of the box. This piece has a foliate and floral theme, with plum blossoms, bamboo and other plants beautifully represented. This box measures 2 1/2″H by 5 1/4 “W and weighs 385 grams. This piece is in very good antique condition with some tarnish a littleold polish in the cracks and some abrasions to the surface of the silver. The edge of the bottom rim is slightly out of round (please see pictures) and this causes a slight overhang of the lid over the bottom when the lid is in place. The lid is also slightly out of round and this makes for a tight fit but the lid does go onto the box. There is age related wear to the surface of the box with small small dings here and there. Well Detailed Antique 19th Century Chinese Export Sterling Silver Snuff Bottle

Genuine antique sterling silver Chinese snuff bottle with a fantastic dragon holding the snuff bottle on his back. The Chinese export silver snuff bottle is in very good condition with the exception of a one leg broke and tarnish on the silver due to age. I do recommend a polish but we leave it as is. The total height is 3 3/4 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches across. The dragon is hallmarked on the foot reading “CS” with other Chinese characters.
