A rare late 19th/ early 20thC solid silver Chinese or Tibetan? Small cylindrical three piece’prayer box’ embossed with chinese characters and figures (see photos). The box employs a clever little’button’ that turns in a notch in the body that secures the inner cylinder (which has a lid) to the outer one. Twist slightly and push the inside cylinder from the top and it slides out. Maker mark to underside base (shown). No damages or repairs. 1 3/4″ high x 1 1/4″ diameter (approx 4cm x 3cm).
