Family crest of spread wing eagle under base. In sought after bombe form with center panel depicting Chinese pagoda with bell. Tip roof, winding stairway and lush floral. Sides with classical urn overflowing with flowers. Hallmarked cover with original flower finial. Atop turned leaf crown scroll feet. This 1833 British sterling Chinoeserie tea caddy pagoda. Is 5 1/2 inches and weighs 17 standard ounces. In very fine condition. Rich, lustreous silver patina throughout. Sides with shell and floral, and center diamond pattern medallion. Well fit shell and floral engraved cover. Sliding door beneath for filling.
