Our Stock # 24308. This is an antique ladies travelling vanity box. A Chinese, elm and brass dressing table case with internal mirror, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920. Fascinating set of openings and storage, with a distinctive appearance. Displays a desirable, lightly time-worn antique appearance. Chinese elm stocks present deep chestnut hues throughout. Brass accentuates the case with bright golden tones. Held securely with a main central clasp, small bone baton and sliding hook clasp. When released, the lid lifts to reveal the original, foxed mirror plate. Set upon a pivot, the mirror comes to rest, acting as a prop for the lid. Fascia in two wing sections, opening outwards to reveal a suite of six internal drawers. Left-hand drawer dressed with a brass lock escutcheon – key absent. Each swing out wing hosts a drawer and sliding cover to reveal a second storage space. Robust drop handles to each side aid ease of carriage. Antique Chinese Silver Pierced Snuff/Trinket Box, Unknown Maker’s stamp, 63.6g

Charming antique, Chinese hand-crafted silver box, dating to the early 20th century and possibly originating from Canton. The inside of the lid of the box, apologies if this is upside down! The lid of the box is highlighted by a highly-decorative filigree surrounding a central plaque with a foliate design. On the reverse side, there’s a charming repousse scene of a bird-possibly a dove symbolising long life and fidelity- at the foot of an exotic tree. The sides of the box are plain. Obviously hand-made, the box measures 7.5cms x 5cms x 1.5cms and weighs in at a hefty. This is an unusual and highly decorative little box which would be a lovely addition to a silver collection. Antique Chinese Boxed Set Silver & Coconut Cups c. This is a boxed set of Qing dynasty hexagonal coconut cups with silver liners, circa 1890 – 1910. The set is complete with ten cups, five decorated with engraved & gold / green stained characters, the other five are undecorated. CONDITION No apparent damage or repairs the set looks unused with the original paper padding. The transport case has mounts for two handles but one handle is missing – as per images. The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners. Case Length 30.7cm. Cup Height 3.5cm. Cup Diameter 5.2cm. Items are packed defensively & extreme care is taken to ensure you receive goods in perfect condition.

This is an antique Chinese export silver bracelet from the Art Deco era, made in China during the 1920s. The bracelet features three 1 square panels with rectangular insets made of figural etched bone, set in bezel-style silver filligree/cannetille. The bracelet is 6.5 long. 75″-1″ wide, weighs 36 g and has a box closure. The etchings have faded overtime, otherwise, the bracelet is in very good condition.

Dome shape jewellery box with snap lid with sky blue enamel decoration inside. Gilt with 24K gold stealing silver with filigree wires floral ornaments embedded with natural red coral and turquoise beads. Featuring Chinese characters motif on lid and on the body symbols. The lid featuring Hetian Jade mount Bee insect engraved ornament on top in frame setting. The box marked on bottom S925 Silver. It is excellent preserved with insignificant hairline on enamel inside due to age. Found at estate sale in Paris, I’m not sure of its history, now looking of a new home.
