Have for sale an antique late 19th or early 20th Century sterling silver etched Dragon lidded box by Nanking Chinese Export. The box measures 4 3/8″ length, 3 1/8″ wide and 2 height. It is marked Nanking and other Chinese marks. It has been 100% tested for Sterling Silver or even higher silver content. No dings or dents. No damage or repair. Engraved OK in fancy letters in the middle of the lid. Lid closes nicely and securely. Gilt interior with some tarnish. It has a Dragon etched all the way around it and also on the lid. A rare Chinese sterling dragon box in great condition and nice size. Useful, displayable and presentable.
