The medal was meant for someone born in the year of the pig. The medal depicts geese flying over the sun on the reverse, and the symbol of the pig on the obverse. This medal rests securely in a velvet cushion within a silk-topped box. A ribbon inside of the box reads “Shengri Jinian, ” which roughly translates to “Chinese Birthday”. Beautiful woven lotus and foliate motifs adorn the silk. The text at the back of the box also wishes the owner a happy birthday. A green plastic accent closes the box securely. Damage: Age appropriate wear. There are two small dents to the medal, which does not affect wear. There is minor wear to the silk at the corners of the box. This listing is for the item only.
