Antique Chinese Mother of Pearl and Silver Snuff Box C. 1800 Georgian Qing Canton Style. Stunning rectangular form snuff box with canted corners. Monogram to the top panel. Offered in fair overall used antique condition but showing signs of wear in keeping with age and usage; including a flake chip to the mother of pearl on the bottom right corner of the lid, a few scratches to the base, some tarnishing to the silver frame and what appears to be a very small hairline to the mother of pearl on the base. None of these minor issues detract from what a stunning piece this is. Please also bear in mind that some of the photos were taken with a macro lens for transparency.
