This exceptional antique Chinese Export Silver (CES) box has a rectangular form. Each elongated side of the box is embellished with two impressive finely pierced and embossed decorated iconic oriental dragons amidst clouds. The decoration to the box incorporates a flame-shaped vacant cartouche to either side. This antique Luen Hing silver box is fitted with the original push fit cover, reflecting the ornamentation to that of the body. The hallmarks struck to the underside of this fine box include. Maker’s mark: LH (Luen Hing). This antique Chinese box is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.
