This is a Fabulous fine quality Rare Victorian Hallmarked 9ct Rose Gold Oval Ring with a Chinese carved scene which dates to circa 1860 making it over 150 years old , this is an extremely Rare Victorian ring, it is hallmarked 9ct and its stunning, the gold ring itself is a rose gold and a large oval shape to the top, this has been mounted with the most beautiful Chinese carved scene with three figures talking in front of the most wonderfully detailed buildings and flowers, this sits high in its setting and the colour of the carved scene contrasts beautifully with the rose gold of the rings itself, the carving sits within the oval setting which in turn is a lovely deep banding of gold. He quality of the craftsmanship is superb, i believe this is a small size maybe for the little finger, its about an i in size, this would have once belonged to a very wealthy Victorian Lady or gentleman and been worn daily, this was many many years ago when times were so very different, if this ring could talk i can just imagine what fascinating stories it could tell, this is so very tactile and once held it has the most wonderful feel.
