This maker is not often observed. Rectangular form with slide on cover. The cover with beautifully hand carved scene of Chinese elders in bamboo. Grove, as crane watches standing on one leg. Opposite side three song birds perched within grove, both side. The raised shield with hand engraved interlocking CJG? In very fine condition. Retains original detail, including most all of the facial detail. The rare c1890 Chinese export silver figures in garden with crane card. Case is 3 1/4 inches and weighs 1 3/4 standard ounces.
