This necklace is made with vintage Chinese Tibetan carved coral beads in the shape of gourd, pumpkin or melon, alternating with beautiful vintage sterling silver beads and findings. The pendant is a Tibetan Gau or Ghau prayer box, ornate with beautiful silver work and a centrally placed red coral. The necklace and pendant have no marks but acid tested OK for sterling silver. The carved coral beads range in size from 12 mm long x 12 mm wide to 8.5 mm long x 14 mm wide and further, by the closure at 7.5 mm long x 12 mm wide. Length of the necklace is 19. Weight is 108.5 grams. Measurements of the pendant gau box are: 50 mm long x 37 mm wide x 18 mm high above the skin. Condition is very good vintage, ready to wear.
