Chinese Gilt Silver Enamel Pair of Swans Birds as Boxes Mid 20th Century. A pair is in the form of male & female swan birds, figures hand chased imitating feather like design upon gilt silver surface, decorated with red, blue, orange and grey color enamel. Life-like feathers, top beaded red color heads, orange beakers. Each opens to reveal small boxes. Overall very good condition, minor enamel loss to beakers, very minor crackling visible with loop. Height 3 1/2 in. & 2 3/4 in. Length 3 3/4 in. & slightly over 3 3/4 in. Total Weight 210 grams.
