This enchanting design, sits proud on a hand hammered background. It’s lid is original & a perfect fit, both parts are internally gilded. 1850’s / 1890’s. WH for Wang Hing & Co. (Hong Kong Circa 1854 – 1930). 3.9 cm’s diameter. 3 cm’s high. No dents, holes or splits. There are movement marks to the base. Both the lid & bottom open & close with ease. Antique Chinese Tibetan Sterling Silver Hammered Dragon Shou Art Jar Box

Interior is also lined in silver as is the base with hammered Shou longevity character and top with floral vines and center curled Dragon. 19th C piece coming out of an old collectors estate whose grandfather served in the army overseas in the early 20th C. Small edge hairline possibly natural but silver looks like it was placed on after that happened. No losses on the piece whatsoever. Ornate beautiful work of handmade art. Measures 3 inches tall and 2.65 inches in diameter at the base (7.6 cm, 6.7 cm). Weighs 114.5 grams or 4.03 ounces. Antique Chinese Export Wang Hing Silver Box Dragons Hammered 1890 Hong Kong 70g

PLEASE CHECK ALL MEASUREMENTS. An antique beautiful quality Chinese silver export silver box which has a cylindrical shape with embossed dragons which have exceptional detail/definition one wraps itself around the entire outside the other adorns the top which has a blank/vacant cartouche in the centre and they sit proud of the box. It is a very aesthetically pleasing design even more so with the background to the dragons being planished/hand hammered and the original push lid is a perfect fit and both parts are gilded. It is not a small box and will arrived gift boxed. Material – silver- 90 standard [900/1000]. Hallmarks/marks – WH for Wang Hing & Co-90- unidentified Chinese. Measurements – 5.5cm diameter-4cm high. Weight – 70 grams. Condition – beautiful condition-no dents-holes-splits-some light surface marks to cartouch and underside-lid locates fine and removes fine-there is 1 very small patch of the inside rim that is not 100 % totally smooth but it has no impact on the functionality what so ever and was difficult to capture in the images-but nothing to worry about.
