Just found at a sale in Canada. This at first just looks like some type of Figural stand. It is indeed a box as you can see when you slide the top off. There is a well detailed Foo dog on the top. On each of the four sides is a Courtesan lady. Each completing a different task. They had enamel painting that is mostly worn off over the years. I don’t read chines, but a gentleman looked at it and said that the marks on the bottom indicted that is was from the 1700’s. Don’t miss out as you will not see another!
