Chinese Sterling Footed Salt Cellar. Lotus & Crane design. Measure approx 1 1/2″ deep (including the ball feet), 1 3/4″ diameter. I cannot remove the glass insert from one of the salts. 57 grams for five (5) on my Cuisinart Kitchen Scale. May be a little off. So, perhaps 68 grams +/- for the six. Original box which shows wear.

Antique Chinese solid silver salt cellar modelled as a traditional women’s shoe and complete with original clear glass liner. Luen Wo, known to have been trading from 42 Nanking Road, Shanghai in 1907. Not specifically marked but late 19. Century or early 20. Shoe 43, total 53.
