Chinese Sterling Silver Enamel Pierced Lidded Box/Incense Burner early 20th century. Of donut shape round form, Chinese sterling silver enamel reticulated incense burner/box, elegantly decorated with phoenix, deer, dragon and foo dog motif, each design set with-in pierced scroll-work foliage and leaf frames, with reticulated cover ornamented with pair of foo dogs dancing among lotus flowers, applied with blue, red, green, orange and yellow colors enamel, decorated with ball form finial engraved with floral design. The box stands upon wide circular raised base with floral design. Overall very good condition, minor enamel loss, no silver damage nor repair. Marked: Chinese make’s mark for silver. Height 2 2/3 in.
