Provincial Chinese Export Silver Round Box. Stunning round box with repousse decoration depicting life in a Chinese village, the rim of the lid decorated with cherry blossom. Unmarked but acid tested for high-grade solid silver. Dates to around 1890. Nice tactile piece, beautifully detailed work. 8 x 3.5 cm.
