Antique Chinese Boxed Set Silver & Coconut Cups c. This is a boxed set of Qing dynasty hexagonal coconut cups with silver liners, circa 1890 – 1910. The set is complete with ten cups, five decorated with engraved & gold / green stained characters, the other five are undecorated. CONDITION No apparent damage or repairs the set looks unused with the original paper padding. The transport case has mounts for two handles but one handle is missing – as per images. The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners. Case Length 30.7cm.
