Vintage Chinese Coral Netted Bead Silver Enamel Graduated Necklace. This is a rare, extraordinary coral netted bead graduated necklace. The beads are separated by petal-shaped turquoise blue enameled bead caps. Hand-knotted on silk thread. Necklace is in pristine condition. Provenance: Estate of Florence and Herbert Irving. The Irvings were major collectors of Asian art and generous benefactors of Columbia University Irving Medical Center and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Measures 22.5 total length including clasp. Hallmarked SILVER on clasp.
