A fantastic high quality antique Chinese Republic 1900s export silver gilt and enamel opium box and lid very finely enameled with colorful bats, shou symbols, scrolling leaves and flowers against a detailed silver filigree ground, the lid with a further shou and bats, the inside has also been gold gilded. The underside is marked’Silver’. The box measures about 1 7/8 inches (4.8cm) high, 1 3/4 inches (4.4cm) across and is about 3/4 inch (1.9cm) wide. The box is in great condition with no dings, dents, cracks or repairs. The enamel is in super condition with no losses. The box has general light wear. Please check all the pictures.
