This is a delightful very colorful enamel silver Chinese export vessel. It dates from the 1930s/40s. The box is crafted from solid sterling silver with a gold gilt on the inside. The outside of this eye catching box features butterflies, fish & flowers all don is a very bright colorful enamel work. The box is presented in excellent condition. The enamel is bright and crisp. I do not see damage just a tiny bit of wear to the purple butterflies eye. It has been very well cared for over its life. The bottom is hallmarked Silver. Measurements: About 2.5 inches tall Egg cup width: 1.5 inches Circa: 1930s/40s Weight: 36 grams. Of course I honor this policy.
