What an amazing repousse work! The box tells a story… It sways open, is leaf shaped, has designs on the top and sides and is signed underneath. It has a of couple of tiny dings in the back (please see photo) and there is a bit of a gap between the lid and the box due to age and use but can be flattened by a jeweler. This amazing treasure is 3-1/4″ long, 1-1/2″ at its widest point and 3/4 deep. Nitric acid scratch tested positive for sterling. Please, carefully view the photos as they are part of the description.
