Just found at a sale in Canada. This at first just looks like some type of Figural stand. It is indeed a box as you can see when you slide the top off. There is a well detailed Foo dog on the top. On each of the four sides is a Courtesan lady. Each completing a different task. They had enamel painting that is mostly worn off over the years. I don’t read chines, but a gentleman looked at it and said that the marks on the bottom indicted that is was from the 1700’s. Don’t miss out as you will not see another! Size: All items shown against ruler or in hand or both in one picture to help you judge size. Measures approximately 4 ¾ inches tall and 2 7/16 by 2 7/16 inches across the base. Condition: Nice vintage condition as pictured. Signs of wear and use from the years, but overall we think very nice. Please see all the pictures as they are part of the description.
