Of ovoid form, Late 19th century Chinese Export Sterling silver jewelry box by Pao Sing, hand adorned with etched birds and cherry blossoms décor upon chased matted silver ground, the box raised upon sickle form scrolled feet, personalized with monogram “C”. Overall very good condition with tarnishing and light scratches commensurate with age & use, no damage to silver, no visible pin-pointed marks, hinge works perfectly with lid closing evenly. Wear and tear to the satin interior lining. Marked: Chinese Characters, Sterling, Pao Sing, additional characters. Width 5 7/8 in. Total Gross Weight 415 grams.
