This is a fantastic antique vintage silver Chinese hexagonal lobed tea caddy or box. Approximately circa 1900’s-1910. The caddy is hand made sterling silver gilt filagree with semi-precious polished jeweled turquoise and coral stones and detailed enameling. It is spectacular and so much nicer than the photos. The gilt inside is in very good condition. This could be polished with silver polish to a bright shine but I have left the aged patina. It is in overall excellent original condition. Hallmarked SILVER on the bottom. This is a very large size at 7″ x 4″. It is getting more difficult to find these as they are extremely collectable. It weighs 514 grams or 18.1 oz.
