Here is a vintage Chinese Export silver junk in its original glass-fronted box. It is in excellent undamaged condition. All of the oars, anchors, cannons and banners are present – nothing is missing – and in good order. It is rare to find one of these still in its original glass-fronted cardboard case which measures 7.5 inches by 8 inches or 19 cm by 20.4 cm. It has to be said that the case has been sellotaped a number of times during its life but it serves its purpose and the original silk backing is present too.
