Presented is a nice Japanese silver Dragon box. This box is either Chinese export silver or made by Samurai Shokai. The quality of the workmanship is wonderful. The box has two dragons on the lid with a pearl in between. Then there are two dragons chasing a pearl in between them. The dragons on the top are applied to the top. The rest of the box is hand chased. On the inside there is wood lining. Let the photos be your guide. This box was made between the 1890’s-1910. This piece is a tested and guaranteed for at least 925 sterling silver. The box for its age is in good condition. In the 8th photo you can see a ding on the lid on the bottom left and on the top right above the dragons head. Otherwise, there are no repairs and no problems. Length: 5 ½ inches.
