LARGE OLD CHINESE SILVER TEA STRAINER WITH JADE HANDLE-ORIGINAL CONDITION-WithBOX
This is a beautiful Chinese silver tea strainer spoon, Circa late 19th, early 20th century. The silver has an intricate design with 2 dragons on the rim. The handle is jade with an open cut work design on the end. As you can see it is in original condition, we have not tried to clean it. It is approximately 8 7/8″ long, and the bowl is 3 1/2″ in diameter. The spoon is in very good condition with no dents, and no cracks or breaks to the jade handle. It is in its original silk (we believe) covered box, made just to fit this spoon. The 2 corners on the long, narrow end are split. Please see the photos. But overall it’s in very good condition for the age. Please look at the photos carefully and ask questions if you have any.
