Included in the sale is a old private collection of Chinese and Japanese cloisonne, a private collection of snuff bottles collected by a diplomat who worked in China in the 1930’s, as well as many other interesting examples of porcelain, bronze, and jade. This listing is for a small Chinese export silver box dating to the late 19th century. The box is decorated with a highly detail dragon on the top with the interior swinging out on a hinge. It measures 2 inches across and weighs 52 grams. Overall condition is good with only some light denting to the edge of the rims. In addition, all questions must be asked at least 12 hours prior to a lot closing. This allows us time to inspect the item and take additional photos if needed.
