This is for a nice antique signed Chinese silver travelling lock down inkwell from the early to mid 1800s. It has a hinged lid that is locked down with a crescent shaped screw key that locates to the socket on the neck of the inkwell and locks it down to the base. It is signed on the base and it is in excellent condition with no dings or dents, no cracks or splits and no repairs or restorations, it shows only the light wear from age you see.
