Beautiful piece vintage filigree articulated fish pendant pill box. Mouth opens if you want to put something inside. Cabochon eyes are a milky white tone. Fish is just around 3 long nose to tail and at the widest point around. 5 wide and 5/8 tall so nice size on a cord or chain. Edgy look if you havent seen these before old is new. The color on this is gold but metal is marked (inside mouth) SILVER. My understanding is this is called gilt so some type of a plating over the silver. Add cord or chain and go at this one again. There is darkening in places i. Back and tail which may clean further – I didn’t want to disrupt this given delicate nature of the piece. Hinge mouth works but is hard to open and close BY DESIGN!
