All of the Ming Period Shard Sterling Silver pieces in my collection were individually handpicked by my father who was a Malaysian resident and myself from Anna Antiques, a well respected Antique Dealer in Bangkok, Thailand in the early 1970’s. This particular silver box is made from a repurposed piece of well over three hundred year old Chinese export porcelain that was most likely originally part of a cracked or damaged porcelain plate or bowl. Fine Condition – there is some slight adhesive residue on the bottom of the box. Box Dimensions: 2 1/4 inches in Diameter & 1 1/8 inch high. Box Weight: 2.2 Ounces (62 grams). Provenance: Collection of Don T.
