Antique Chinese Export Silver Cloisonné Box 19th Century. A very fine little Chinese export silver ground cloisonné box with multiple enamel colors having a pale yellow enamel background. There is the Shou symbol [happiness] centered on the lid. There are some enamels missing from the tiny spaces created so look carefully at all the photos. With the naked eye you can’t tell where the gaps may be. The 4 framed panels around the box depict branches, leaves and birds. The box is from the second half of the 19th century and it measures 1.375 inches high, by 1.50 inches wide. It weighs 34 grams and is probably lower grade silver. Guaranteed to be as described.
