Up for sale is an antique Chinese export silver wax sealer and opium container. The container is empty. It measures approximately 1.25 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide. It lifts from the bottom and inside is a container with the image of a bat on top. I have been told that this is a wax sealer but it was used for an opium case. It also could of been made to look like a wax seal disguised as an opium jar. The case is ornate with a cut out engraved design all around. It has a symbol on the bottom as shown.
