Antique Chinese Or European Neillo Solid Silver Cylinder Pill box Or Snuff Box. It is a very old piece but I’m not to sure about the hallmarks if it is Chinese or European. There is a date on the base carved as 1841 and some other wording smilers to initials. And have two other hallmarks on the top of the lid and one on the side of the lid. Small cylinder Chinese enamel silver metal box, 1 1/4 high

This is a small cylindrical metal box, perhaps a pill box. 1 1/4″, diameter 3/4″. Base metal is probably silver but there is no hallmark. Chinese mark on base. Sides and lid are richly decorated with good quality cloisonne type pictures of birds and animals. Decorative pattern embossed on rims and edges. Condition is good but there is some soiling on the inside, and the base surface is finely scratched with wear.
