Its apron – shown that of a young female – opens to reveal a hidden compartment for pill or spices, snuff? Covered by the apron. 1970’s Chinese Gilt Silver Enamel Humidor Box & Ashtray with Chrysoprase Cabochon Crab Marked “Silver”. The box is 5.3 inches (13.5 cm) tall by 4.7 inches (12 cm) wide. The ashtray is 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) tall by 4.3 inches (11 cm) wide. Total weight is 531 gram. They have surface wears and scratches, rubbing of gilt, loss of enamels, and tarnished silver. The box has a bent foot. The ashtray has small dings at the bottom and a slightly bent foot (as seen in the photos). How we pack your item is at our discretion.
