Most likely silver plate on some light yellow metal Good detail, but not the earliest C19th century model. Has little cannons but they are fixed do not move, separate oars and flags, sales and rigging all in tact. Character symbols on rear of Junk, but I do not know their meaning. Quite tarnished and signs of base metal under silver plating. Base is a resin or plastic not wood. A class fronted box was supplied with it, but it does not fit the model.
