Each measures approximately 5 1/4 in length. Total weight is a hefty 474.7 grams. Both hallmarked “Silver ” on the bottom. Professional scanned/tested as 950 silver. Bottom section has an overall textured pattern. Top is a filigree feather pattern design highlighted with brown enamel. These boxes feature a unique true “hidden” compartment with the lid skillfully disappearing between rows of feathers. Round glass cabochon eyes embellished with blue enamel over the tops of the eyes. Perfect to add to your collection. Fabulous all over details. Age / wear appropriate surface scratches. One bird has a dent on the bottom section and o. Ne tiny chip to the enamel over one eye. Other bird has a chip on the top of one of it’s glass eyes. Does not have the original box.
